Rebecca Pasternak

Rebecca Pasternak is a dedicated Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) whose expertise spans a wide range of age groups, including toddlers, children, teens, and adults. With a strong commitment to supporting students from preschool through college, she provides individual counseling to equip them with essential tools and coping skills for success. Rebecca also conducts thorough psycho-educational assessments designed to uncover barriers to academic achievement and social-emotional well-being. Her proficiency encompasses the identification of various learning, behavioral, and mental health disorders, such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders, and Intellectual Disabilities. Additionally, she offers Gifted testing services. Passionate about mindfulness, Rebecca conducts workshops and presentations for parents, educators, and school groups, fostering a collaborative approach to student success. She earned her BA in Psychology & Communication Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), followed by a Masters of Education in School Psychology (Ed.M.) from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. Prior to establishing her private practice, Rebecca gained valuable experience working as a school psychologist in the public school system.
