The Gift of Groceries (TGOG)

At The Gift of Groceries in Elk Grove, CA, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to our community, ensuring that every family receives enough nutritious food to support four people. Our mission goes beyond just meeting basic nutritional needs; we also prioritize spiritual nourishment through a short inspirational message and prayer that accompany every food distribution. Recipients are encouraged to seek prayers from our compassionate volunteers, who are ready to offer support during their visit. In addition to groceries, we also provide clothing to those in need. Our food pantry operates every Thursday, where participants can easily sign up for a numbered ticket between 7 AM and 3:30 PM, with distribution beginning at 1 PM.
