Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) in Compton, CA, is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of families by providing essential services such as nutrition education, healthy supplemental food checks, and valuable referrals to healthcare and community resources. Our mission centers on empowering women, along with their infants and children, to access the nutrition they need to thrive. We offer support for breastfeeding and help families navigate various social and health resources to ensure they receive comprehensive assistance. To get started, interested individuals can complete an online application; however, eligibility will be determined during the first WIC appointment. Please note, in response to public health concerns, our services are currently available by phone and online, ensuring continued access to food assistance and guidance during these challenging times.
