Sister Dolores Social Outreach in Chula Vista, CA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance, clothing, and shelter to those facing critical needs in our community. We focus our efforts on supporting the working poor and homeless in both Chula Vista and Tijuana, ensuring that the most vulnerable among us receive the help they deserve. Our services include a community food pantry, a clothes closet, and coordination with the San Diego Interfaith Shelter Network to facilitate emergency shelter for those in need. We also organize the collection of essential supplies for distribution across the border in Tijuana and serve as a resource for individuals seeking connections to additional local, state, and federal social services. Our initiatives are made possible through the selfless contributions of dedicated parish volunteers and the support of the Emergency Food and Shelter program through the San Diego Food Bank. We invite those in need to join us for lunch sack distributions and various food commodity services available throughout the week.
