Jessica Prisk, MSW, LCSW, is a clinical social worker and therapist who understands the complexities many face in their relationships. Often, individuals may find themselves caught in a cycle of interactions leading to conflict and discomfort, accompanied by feelings of hurt, fear, and sadness. It's common for individuals to grapple with relational wounds, which may lead to blaming or avoiding others as a means of coping. As an Emotionally Focused therapist, Jessica believes that these challenging emotions are clear indicators of our innate desires for connection and safety with others. Through her guidance, clients can identify unhelpful cycles and access the deeper emotions driving these patterns, ultimately fostering new moments of connection with themselves and those around them. Recently, Jessica has participated in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Core Skills Training through the Sacramento-Davis Center, further enhancing her ability to support her clients. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, relational, and strength-based, emphasizing the valuable insights gained within relationships. Jessica warmly invites individuals to explore their emotional journeys, reassuring them that resources may be available for those facing financial hardship during this time.
