FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center, located in Bell Gardens, CA, has been a beacon of hope since 1971, initially starting as a food pantry and evolving to meet the diverse needs of the West Valley community. Unlike traditional food assistance programs, FISH empowers families by allowing them to access emergency food weekly, ensuring they receive a healthy variety of items catered to their specific needs. Our commitment to caring extends to delivering food to seniors and individuals who are homebound, as well as providing pet food, diapers, clothing, and hygiene products when available. Beyond food assistance, FISH connects individuals with essential services, offering pathways to legal help, safe parking, and permanent housing options. We collaborate with organizations like About My Father's Business to directly reach those experiencing homelessness, and partner with the Little Angels Project and VIDA Mobile Clinic to enhance our community outreach.
