Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) in Bakersfield, CA, is dedicated to fostering the health and wellness of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through essential services that include nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to health care resources. We strive to empower families with the knowledge and resources they need to ensure the well-being of their children and to create a healthier community.
