Sister Josie's Food Pantry in Bakersfield, CA, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. We understand the importance of nourishment, which is why we serve quality food items on a first-come, first-serve basis, allowing walk-ins to receive support when they need it most. Each participant is encouraged to visit once a month and will complete a brief intake form as well as the USDA Food Insecurity Survey Module during their first visit, helping us to tailor our services to their specific situation. We are committed to monitoring ongoing needs and reevaluating circumstances every three months to ensure comprehensive support for our community.
