Patches of Light is dedicated to supporting families in Yuma, AZ, whose children are grappling with catastrophic health challenges and financial difficulties. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens these families face by providing financial assistance for essential needs like utilities, housing, gas cards, and grocery cards. All assistance requests must be initiated by hospital staff involved with the family, ensuring a compassionate approach that maintains confidentiality throughout the process. The application review takes approximately 2-3 weeks, and we ask that petitioners confirm the submission of their request via email to streamline communication and assist in timely processing. Patches of Light is here to offer a lifeline to those in urgent need, working closely with medical teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of each application.
