Arizona's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Cash Assistance program is dedicated to providing essential cash benefits and supportive services for the most vulnerable families in Wittmann and throughout the state. Our mission is to help Arizona's children and their families meet their fundamental needs for safety and well-being, paving the way for their journey toward self-sufficiency. We offer temporary cash assistance and a range of supportive services to ensure that families have a bridge to a more stable future. Applications are easy to submit through our online application center, by mail or fax to your nearest Department of Economic Security office, or you can request a paper application by phone. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended work requirements for Nutrition and Cash Assistance recipients, ensuring that our services remain accessible and responsive to community needs during these uncertain times.
