Emergency Food Boxes (TEFAP)

In Vail, AZ, the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families through its Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). This essential initiative provides vital emergency food boxes to those in need, helping to supplement their diets and alleviate food insecurity. Each eligible household can access these emergency food boxes once a month, with the amount provided tailored to the size of the family. To apply, individuals simply need to self-declare their eligibility based on income guidelines established by the Department of Economic Security. We welcome community members to visit our pantry, where they will need to present a few details including their name, date of birth, household size, proof of residence in the service area, and a photo ID. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry, providing a warm and compassionate response to those facing urgent food needs.
