Michelle Ellis is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist with over 30 years of experience in various settings, including outpatient clinics, psychiatric hospitals, and residential treatment facilities for children and adolescents. She has also worked with adults in the prison system. Michelle’s journey began as a teacher and special education director, and she has dedicated the last 17 years to community mental health, helping individuals of all ages navigate their emotional landscapes. In November 2015, she fulfilled her dream by opening Palo Santo Psychotherapy and Wellness, where she collaborates with like-minded clinicians in a wellness-focused environment. Michelle passionately supports clients facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and behavioral issues in children and adolescents. She finds particular joy in life coaching, helping clients tackle life's challenges. A long-time meditator, Michelle incorporates mindfulness and holistic techniques into her practice, guiding clients along the roller coaster of life—celebrating each turn, embracing the thrills of the downs, and uncovering lessons in the ups. Together, clients can identify issues, gain understanding, and work towards meaningful solutions.
