Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Tolleson, AZ, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is a vital federally-funded health and nutrition initiative dedicated to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and their children. Our mission is to enhance nutrition for families by providing essential resources such as nutrition education, access to healthy supplemental foods, and referrals to healthcare and community services. We cater specifically to women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or recently have given birth, as well as children under the age of five, including foster children, from low to medium-income households. WIC is here to ensure that families receive the support they need for a healthy start in life, offering special checks for nutritious foods, educational resources, and guidance on breastfeeding.
