Teri Ehlers understands that parenting doesn't come naturally to everyone, and she believes that is perfectly okay. She recognizes that many individuals may feel overwhelmed or question their parenting abilities. Statistically, one in six mothers experiences symptoms of postpartum depression or anxiety, and one in ten fathers face similar challenges. Having faced postpartum depression herself without resources, Teri is dedicated to ensuring that others do not have to navigate their struggles alone. She is passionate about sharing invaluable tools that help clients thrive during significant life transitions, including pregnancy, postpartum phases, and marital challenges. Teri employs a holistic approach as she treats individuals and couples through HIPAA-compliant telehealth services throughout Arizona. With training in EMDR, DBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, she integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities to cater to the unique needs of her clients. Additionally, she draws upon her Christian faith when requested, allowing for spiritual integration in her practice. Teri genuinely cherishes her role as a therapist and feels honored to listen to her clients’ struggles while equipping them with effective tools for healthier relationships and improved emotional well-being. Healing is a journey, and Teri's commitment to her clients' growth and happiness shines through in her supportive approach.
