Flaget Simms Dube, a Kentucky lady with a French name, believes that therapy is a profound journey where a therapist provides a compassionate and safe environment for clients to explore, validate, and gradually release emotional pain. This emotional pain may manifest as old traumas, inner conflict, or challenges in resolving strained relationships. Flaget has a rich history of supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, sexual abuse, and grief/loss. With a Master of Social Work specializing in Trauma Counseling, she is equipped to walk alongside individuals of all ages, including adolescents and adults. Her diverse training encompasses EMDR, DBT, ACT, and Inner Child work, all aimed at fostering healing and resilience. Additionally, Flaget holds a B.S. in Occupational Therapy, with a solid foundation in neuroscience and sensory processing issues, as well as a Master of Theology. While passionately committed to her own faith journey, she is also skilled in supporting those who have experienced hurt or disillusionment in their spiritual lives, as well as those seeking to deepen their spiritual practices. Flaget understands that each person's beauty and truth lie within, waiting for encouragement and support to be embraced and expressed.
