Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a vital health program serving the Show Low, AZ community by offering free food assistance and comprehensive nutrition support to eligible mothers and children. Our mission is to empower families through personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and access to healthy supplemental foods, all tailored to meet the unique needs of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age five. At WIC, our dedicated nutrition experts provide valuable guidance on healthy eating habits, ensure proper weight gain during pregnancy, and make referrals to essential health services. We believe in nourishing our community and are committed to helping parents create a foundation for a healthy future for their children. To participate, individuals must meet income guidelines and are encouraged to schedule an appointment to get started on their journey towards improved nutrition and health.
