Michael Zatkowsky

Michael Zatkowsky is recognized as the first psychologist in Arizona to specialize in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), having dedicated over 25 years to this crucial area of mental health. He has pursued all available advanced training to provide the most effective treatment using Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). As a member of the National Panel of Experts at the International OCD Annual conference, Michael is committed to treating all OCD Spectrum Disorders and related issues, including Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) such as trichotillomania, dermatillomania, and tics, as well as anxiety disorders and depression. His practice welcomes patients across a wide age range – from toddlers to seniors aged 93. At the OCD Spectrum Clinic, the primary aim is to empower both patients and their families to master the management of OCD. Michael emphasizes a collaborative approach to therapy, focusing not only on immediate concern but also on relapse prevention strategies. He is distinguished as the first and only treatment provider in Arizona to have completed all three advanced training programs offered by the IOCDF, including specialized programs for OCD, BFRBs, and Tics/Tourettes Syndrome.
