The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

In Sahuarita, Arizona, The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to low-income individuals and families in need. Administered by the Sahuarita Food Bank, TEFAP offers emergency food boxes with essential items like rice, beans, macaroni and cheese, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, and soup. Each month, qualifying residents can receive these emergency food boxes by providing proof of residence, with families eligible to receive up to three boxes based on household size.
