Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

In New River, Arizona, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC provides essential food assistance, offering access to nutritious foods, comprehensive nutrition education, and vital breastfeeding support. Additionally, we connect families to health care resources and other social services, ensuring that every member of the community has the opportunity to thrive. To participate in our program, applicants need to provide a valid photo ID, proof of income for the last 30 days, proof of address, and documentation of AHCCCS, TANF, or SNAP if applicable. Together, we are committed to fostering healthier families and building a stronger community.
