Arizona Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Cash Assistance (CA) program is dedicated to uplifting the most vulnerable children and families in New River, AZ, by providing vital cash benefits and supportive services. Our mission is to empower families to meet their essential needs for safety and well-being, while guiding them toward self-sufficiency. We offer temporary cash assistance and additional supportive services tailored to the specific needs of families facing hardship. Applications can easily be submitted online, by mail, or through fax to our local Department of Economic Security office. During the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended work requirements for Nutrition and Cash Assistance recipients to accommodate the unique employment landscape. Although our offices are closed to the public, we remain committed to serving our community through online resources and phone support.
