Jamie Abbitt believes that some of the most significant, life-changing moments are ignited through meaningful conversations. Jamie's own experiences have shaped her approach, informed by her comprehensive training and counseling practice. She is dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, suicidal thoughts, and self-worth. Originally born in South America, Jamie's upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for connecting with people from a variety of backgrounds, and she is fluent in Spanish. After graduating with a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University, Jamie secured her LMSW licensure from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health. She then completed an intensive year-long training program where she honed her skills in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused approaches. This diverse training empowers Jamie to tailor her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Acknowledging the courage it takes to seek help, Jamie looks forward to guiding individuals toward the skills and healing necessary to navigate life’s challenges.
