Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training (DSME)

At the Sun Health Center for Health & Wellbeing in Litchfield Park, AZ, we are dedicated to empowering individuals through our accredited Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training (DSME) Program. This comprehensive five-week series provides essential tools and knowledge to help you take control of your diabetes management. Our curriculum includes vital topics such as understanding diabetes, adopting healthy eating habits, increasing physical activity, monitoring health, medication management, problem-solving, and developing effective coping strategies to reduce risks. Medicare and most insurance plans cover our program, which requires a physician referral. We offer DSME sessions throughout the year across various locations, ensuring accessible support for all.
