Jae Bunn is a compassionate Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at Gilbert Counselors, working under the direct supervision of Julia Spain, LPC. She obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University and has previously provided her expertise in non-profit community behavioral health agencies prior to joining the team at Gilbert Counselors. With a rich background in community and outpatient settings, Jae’s passion for the mental and behavioral health field emerged in 2016 during her volunteer work abroad, where she recognized the crucial role that mental wellness plays in overall health. Her diverse interests include trauma-informed care, relational and inter-generational issues, challenges faced by first-generation Americans, as well as concerns related to anxiety, depression, and the LGBTQ+ community. Jae is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey to personal wellness and works diligently to integrate various counseling modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients. She values collaboration and strives to empower individuals to gain a better understanding of themselves and envision what their life of wellness might look like.
