Based in Fort Defiance, Arizona, the Selma Schimmel Vital Grant provides crucial support to individuals struggling with financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses such as cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. This program focuses on delivering essential utility assistance and grocery support to those in need, recognizing the unique challenges faced by individuals dealing with serious health conditions. While the grant covers either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with various partner organizations to broaden the range of assistance available. Our mission is to empower and uplift those grappling with health-related financial obstacles through practical and compassionate support.
