MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in El Mirage, AZ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by offering annual screenings for obesity, individualized treatment options, and resources tailored to their unique preferences and needs. Participants can choose from a variety of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support as required. Additionally, Veterans can access the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management or explore options such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who need more intensive support after engaging with the program. We encourage Veterans interested in weight management to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
