Ying Wang is a compassionate therapist dedicated to guiding individuals on their journeys towards self-awareness, self-love, and personal fulfillment. With a deep understanding of the human experience, Ying recognizes that often, people become entangled in fears of judgment and external expectations, losing sight of their own feelings. Under Ying’s guidance, clients discover that it is perspective, not circumstances, that truly defines one’s experience. Ying's counseling approach invites clients to collaboratively explore fitful ways of rebuilding their sense of self-worth and feeling cherished and loved. She holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Women and Gender Studies from ASU. Currently working under the supervision of Julia Spain, LPC, she offers support for a variety of challenges, including depression, relationship conflicts, and mood disorders. In her sessions, Ying utilizes techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Narrative therapy to help clients gain insight into themselves, process their life experiences, and develop healthier expressions of their desires. Through this work, Ying empowers her clients to observe their thoughts and feelings differently, fostering inner strength and facilitating healing.
