Senior Farmers Markets Nutrition Program (SFMNP)

The Senior Farmers Markets Nutrition Program (SFMNP) in Cave Creek, AZ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors by providing access to fresh, locally grown produce, honey, and herbs. Through the issuance of SFMNP vouchers and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes, we empower eligible seniors to enjoy nutritious selections from farmers markets and roadside stands. Each year, qualifying seniors can receive a booklet with up to six SFMNP vouchers or up to three CSA boxes, enabling them to choose from a variety of fresh foods during designated periods. Our goal is to ensure that seniors have the vital resources they need to maintain a healthy diet and enjoy the richness of local agriculture. Vouchers are typically distributed through authorized distributors starting February 1st, with some flexibility depending on seasonal availability.
