Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training (DSME)

At the Sun Health Center for Health & Wellbeing in Casa Grande, AZ, our Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training (DSME) Program equips individuals with essential knowledge and skills to take control of their diabetes. Accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators, this comprehensive five-week program covers vital topics including healthy eating, physical activity, medication management, monitoring, problem solving, and reducing risks associated with diabetes. Our mission is to empower participants through practical education, ensuring they can lead healthier lives while effectively managing their conditions. DSME is accessible through Medicare and most insurance plans, requiring a physician referral to register.
