The Arizona Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Cash Assistance program offers vital temporary cash benefits and supportive services aimed at helping Arizona families in need. We are dedicated to assisting the most vulnerable children and their families throughout Arizona City, ensuring they have the resources necessary for their well-being and safety. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential support as they work towards self-sufficiency. Individuals can easily apply for assistance through our online application center, by mailing or faxing their applications to the nearest Department of Economic Security office, or by requesting a paper application to be sent to them. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended work requirements for Nutrition and Cash Assistance recipients to better support families during this uncertain time. While our offices are currently closed for in-person visits, we remain committed to delivering our services online and over the phone.
