The American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to supporting families in Wilmer, AL, who are navigating the challenges of childhood cancer. Through our Grant Program, we provide essential financial assistance to families affected by child cancer and to young survivors within four years of remission. Our goal is to ease the burdens that come with medical treatment by offering help with vital needs such as housing, living expenses, utilities, food, medical costs, prescriptions, transportation for medical visits, and even lodging for families dealing with distant healthcare facilities. Each request for assistance is carefully evaluated on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the availability of funds and the unique circumstances of each family. Approved requests are paid directly to service providers, ensuring that children and their families receive the support they need when they need it most.
