Nutrition Counseling

Located in Warrior, AL, United Way Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Nutrition Program provides essential food assistance through free nutrition counseling led by a registered dietitian nutritionist. Our mission is to empower seniors to set and achieve their health and nutrition goals, offering personalized guidance on a range of topics including nutritious foods, weight management, heart health, blood pressure control, diabetes management, food budgeting, and fitness objectives. We offer convenient one-on-one counseling sessions that can be conducted in person, by phone, or through video calls, ensuring that support is accessible to all seniors in our community.
