Family Assistance Program

Based in Springville, AL, the Family Assistance Program is dedicated to uplifting low-income families with children under 18, or up to 19 if they are full-time students in secondary school or vocational training. Our mission is to provide vital temporary cash assistance to meet basic needs, helping families navigate financial challenges during difficult times. We understand the urgency of support in our community, and we invite eligible individuals to apply for assistance at the local Department of Human Resources. Please note that adults can receive benefits for a maximum of five years over their lifetime. Together, we strive to create opportunities for families to thrive.
