Nutrition Counseling

The United Way Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Nutrition Program in Pleasant Grove, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of seniors through free nutrition counseling led by a registered dietitian nutritionist. Our mission is to empower seniors to set and achieve their personal health and nutrition goals, addressing essential topics such as nutritious foods, weight management, heart health, blood pressure, diabetes management, food budgeting, and fitness objectives. We offer flexible, one-on-one counseling sessions available in person, by phone, or through video calls, ensuring that support is accessible and tailored to the individual needs of our community's seniors.
