MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Pelham, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connected to appropriate treatment options tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, Veterans can use the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management, and explore weight loss medications or bariatric surgery if standard options don't meet their needs.
