MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Owens Cross Roads, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of our Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion strategies. We aim to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with appropriate weight management services. Our comprehensive offerings include supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for flexible in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans can also enjoy the empowerment of using the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those needing additional assistance, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who have not achieved their goals through our primary program. We welcome all Veterans interested in starting their weight loss journey to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to get the support they deserve.
