Food Pantry

Saint Mark United Methodist Church operates a dedicated food pantry in Northport, AL, aiming to alleviate food insecurity and create awareness about hunger within our community. Our program is designed to provide emergency food assistance to those in need, ensuring that clients receive essential nutrition. Individuals can visit the food pantry during regular hours to request food, and first-time clients will receive an emergency ration to help meet their immediate needs. After this initial assistance, clients are placed on a waiting list to establish regular access, with notifications provided once space becomes available. Currently, clients can expect to receive food approximately every six weeks, based on household size, while the waiting list may extend to a year or more. Our mission remains focused on providing compassionate support to those facing challenges in accessing nutritious food.
