Nutrition Services, part of the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG), is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors in New Market, AL, and surrounding counties including De Kalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall. Our program prioritizes the health of older adults by providing hot, nutritious meals that meet at least one-third of their daily-recommended dietary allowances. We offer both home-delivered meals and communal dining options, ensuring accessibility for everyone. While we encourage contributions from our senior participants, we firmly believe that no one should go hungry due to financial constraints; therefore, meals are available regardless of one's ability to pay, with a suggested donation of $1.25. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that empowers our seniors to thrive with dignity and care.
