Patches of Light, based in Moody, AL, is dedicated to supporting families with children facing catastrophic health challenges and financial difficulties. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens these families face by providing essential financial assistance, including help with utilities, housing costs, gas cards, and grocery cards. We understand the urgent needs of these families, which is why we work closely with the child's medical team to ensure all applications are handled with care and confidentiality. Please note that applications must be submitted by hospital staff, as families are unable to apply directly. The review process typically takes 2-3 weeks, and we encourage petitioners to confirm the receipt of their applications via email to ensure timely processing.
