Jerry Gibson

Jerry Gibson, LPC-S, is dedicated to treating each client with dignity and respect while attentively addressing their counseling needs. He has extensive experience working with clients aged 6 and above, aiming to create a safe and comfortable environment for them to embark on their healing journey. Clients' needs always come first in his practice. Jerry specializes in helping individuals navigate complex issues related to addiction, anger, family conflict, and behavioral challenges. His background includes facilitating domestic abuse groups and working with drug court, as well as supporting teens dealing with behavioral issues. With a strong educational foundation as a graduate of Troy University's Clinical Mental Health program, he is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds the National Board of Certified Counselors credential as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Additionally, Jerry is a Master Addiction Counselor (NAADAC) and is qualified to provide counseling in accordance with DOT standards based on NAADAC/SAP evaluations. He looks forward to assisting a diverse range of clients with their unique counseling needs, utilizing various therapeutic approaches including Trauma Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
