MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Jacksonville, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to annually screen each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and direct them to appropriate weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of supportive options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who seek independent management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
