Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and directed toward effective weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of supportive options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that facilitates in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer an autonomous approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist in personal weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after participating in MOVE!.
