MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Harvest, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive obesity management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-directed programs, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have faced challenges with weight management despite participation in MOVE! We encourage Veterans interested in making a positive change to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
