MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Haleyville, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to assess every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to tailored treatment options that meet their unique needs. Utilizing a variety of methods including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! system for in-home support, we empower Veterans to take charge of their weight loss journey. For those who prefer self-guided support, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available. Additionally, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with overweight or related health issues.
