MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Gulf Shores, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connected to personalized weight management options that best suit their individual needs. We offer a range of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for at-home support. For those seeking mobile solutions, the MOVE! Coach app provides a flexible way to track progress independently. Additionally, we assist Veterans who may require weight loss medications or bariatric surgery after engaging with our program. To join MOVE!, we encourage interested Veterans to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for guidance on the available services and to embark on their weight loss journey.
