Diabetic Education

At South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Gulf Shores, AL, our Diabetic Education program is dedicated to empowering individuals in the management of diabetes. We provide essential resources and support for handling medications, increasing physical activity, performing blood glucose testing, and adopting healthier nutrition habits. Our free program equips participants with the tools needed to make informed decisions and take proactive steps in their diabetes care. Both group classes and personalized consultations with our experienced diabetes instructor and dietitian are available, fostering a supportive environment for learning. Classes conveniently take place in the Rehab Center, directly across from the ER entrance, enabling easy access for our community members seeking to improve their health and well-being.
