The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) in Grand Bay, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and older by providing access to fresh, nutritious foods. Administered by the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries, this program offers food vouchers that can be used to purchase a variety of eligible products, including fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs, directly from local farmers at farmers markets and roadside stands.
