Family Assistance Program

The Family Assistance Program in Fort Payne, AL, is dedicated to supporting low-income families with children under 18, or up to 19 for full-time students. Our mission is to provide temporary financial assistance to help families meet their basic needs during challenging times. We understand the urgency of financial difficulties and are committed to offering the critical support necessary for families to thrive. To access our services, individuals must apply at the Department of Human Resources in their county, with the understanding that assistance is available for a maximum of five years per adult over a lifetime. We are here to support our community with compassion and care during times of need.
