Selma Schimmel Vital Grant

The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to supporting individuals in Eight Mile, AL who are navigating the challenges of financial hardship stemming from a chronic, terminal, or rare diagnosis, including conditions such as cancer and Parkinson's disease. Our program provides essential utility and grocery assistance to ensure that basic needs are met during these difficult times. While our grants are specifically designed to cover either utility bills or grocery expenses, we also collaborate with partner organizations to offer additional resources and support, helping recipients find holistic solutions to their urgent circumstances.
