Backpack Program for Students

The Backpack Program for Students in Eight Mile, AL is dedicated to combating weekend food insufficiency for students in need. By collaborating with school counselors, we identify children at risk and provide them with nutritious food to help meet their basic nutritional requirements. Each Friday, participating students receive three meals and healthy snacks to ensure they have the sustenance they need over the weekend. Our mission is to support young learners and foster their well-being, making a real difference in their lives through reliable food assistance.
