Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Cottondale, AL, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to encourage healthy eating habits through the provision of special checks that allow families to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, eggs, cheese, and peanut butter. In addition to food assistance, we offer valuable resources and information on nutrition and health, promoting well-being for mothers and their children. WIC also provides guidance on breastfeeding and connects families with affordable healthcare services.
